The Artist As Curator

February 14 - March 27

Senator Scott Wiener and Curator Joseph Abbati invite you to “The Artist As Curator”, an art exhibit by San Francisco Bay Area artists each curating a wall or space. This is an opportunity for artists to express something about their work, their influences and how it is received in today's political climate. The exhibit will be held in Senator Wiener’s Office at the California State Building in San Francisco.

A reception will be held on Friday, February 14 from 5-7PM. The exhibit will be on display from February 14 to March 27, 2020.

The Apothecarium Castro

October - December 2019

Hard to believe that fall is almost here — hope you had a good and relaxing summer.

For those of you in the Bay Area, I wanted to let you know that my Apothecarium Castroshow, Women’s Work, will be running from October 1 to December 4. This show will feature two of my fiber art installations as well as a number of my mixed media paintings.

The opening reception will be during the Castro Art Walk on October 3 from 6-8 pm. Please join me at 2029 Market Street in San Francisco for some snacks and conversation.

Hope to see you there!

The Apothecarium Marina

April - May 2019

I am delighted to let you know that I’m currently the featured artist at The Apothecarium Marina, one of the leading cannabis dispensaries in San Francisco. My show, Continuum, will be there all April and May.

This fall, I’ll also be the featured artist at The Apothecarium Castro, named the best-designed dispensary in the country by Architectural Digest. I’ll be showing paintings and new, wall-hung fiber art installations. At the Castro gallery, there will be a Meet The Artist opening reception — I’ll share more details of that event when it gets closer.

For now, please stop by the Marina location to check it out!
